About the Art of Building
The Art of Building is an international showcase for the very best digital photography of the built environment. It is open to both professional photographers and amateur enthusiasts of any nationality.
Run by the Chartered Institute of Building, the competition celebrates the creativity of the industry, the passion of the people who work within it, and the impact their work has on those who make use of the final construction.
Entrants are encouraged to capture the built environment in a way not seen before, to inspire others and to challenge people’s perceptions. The imagery should be original and thought provoking. But most of all we want you to enjoy taking photographs of this great industry.
